it was Toyota, not Honda.
for companies like Sony, Microsoft, Apple or even a Google when coming into the gaming industry. If another competitor came in, say an Apple iPlay, everyone would conceivably lose some market share. That is what happened, Microsoft entered the industry.
If this is going to be a long product cycle for all consoles, then I think talk like this is especially tired and worthless. Because once the next generation starts, we reset to zero. Everybody has to bring it all over again. ...
I keep confusing Alpha Protocol with the Agency, Sony's MMRORPG for the PS3, not to be confused with Rockstar North's Agent. This is getting even more confusing.
I love espionage much, much more than zombies. Good...more spy games. Which one will I get?
has advertising in HOME, and it is definitely an enhancement like with the Red Bull Home Space. But how are ads on the fricking dashboard an enhancement?
I'm not an avid TV watcher, but I've noticed that some stations are now mostly commercials. G4 is horrid about it. If I fast-forward, an hour of X-Play last 20-30 minutes. That is over the half of the time allocated.
This will only get worse I believe.
Kojima clearly prefers the PS3. Even some multi-platform developers still prefer to work on the PS3.
Instead of blaming the PS3 for not being. They can just say 'Hey, we prefer 360 over here.' I really don't think there is any love lost on either side.
In yesterday’s WSJ, I read Honda has patented hybrid vehicles. Ford too has a hybrid vehicle, the architecture different and developed independently of Honda. Honda still could sue Ford for patent infringement, but has instead decided to cross-license the technology. Still other automakers are in a fix, because fuel-economy standards are necessitating hybrid vehicles – some are pursuing a wholly electric-powered car. The only Green here is the money for Honda.
Personally,...
I followed this because I liked the steampunk and the character models - hats more than boobs. I dropped it when it kept being delayed and I saw the lead producer was some 20-something wannabe.
is what we in the Midwest call a Horse and Pony (which is redundant)...it is a traveling exhibition/showcase.
Likely a bunch of Sony developers showing off their games, trading ideas, and eating catered food. So yeah, GT5 and Uncharted 2 could be there.
to the point you have this much dislike for them. Judge them totally/mostly for their games. Yeah, Blezinski is a shmuck, but at least he isn't Itagaki. And at least Gears is badass.
Personally I like Jaffe. He is not as prominent this generation because his focus has been on tamer downloadable games. He seems to go from idea to idea; he doesn't have a commited hit-franchise like Kojima.
Otherwise, I think he has skills. Twisted Metal Black still is the bomb.
had a very buxom nude mod. I had a house of women with one man. I tried to sleep with everyone. Nothing titillating, and I got bored after a while.
Ain't nothing like the real thing baby...
Bubbles for everybody above, on me!
and we may have Hulu on our PS3's next month. We don't even know if the Hulu issue and the Bing/Ad thing is even really related.
I like watching Hulu at work, and I found myself watching it more on my PS3. But Hulu isn't the only game in town.
...Sony welcomed the deal, because it means money. Sony films did not play on Netflix until it was worked out. I remember the Sony hate when XBox owners couldn't play Sony films. Netflix still had to negotiate with Sony, and Sony was willing.
Why? I seriously doubt Sony's return in not providing content would match what Netflix is paying. More money can be made sometimes playing ball, then being spiteful against your competition. (Read Michael Turner's Death of Competition,...
Microsoft has had a bad reputation in regards to ethical business practices waaay before the XBox. Most of us are old enough to remember. Anyone with a respectable knowledge of the company could attest to this.
This even smacks of anti-trust, which is a familiar taint from Microsoft's past.
then it should be okay for Sony Media properties to only play on Sony devices. That means no Sony movies for Netflix, no Ghostbusters 360 in the States, etc.
I would hope Microsoft isn't so spiteful.
I don't want Metal Gear to become like Halo, but millions don't mind another Halo. Since they buy it up like flapjacks, I am apparently in the minority. There will be another Metal Gear...sigh.
Wow. Did I just sigh? Upset at another Metal Gear? Well, in the same way I knew a bad Spider-man movie was inevitable...the same way reboots tend to renew interest,...I don't want another Metal Gear Solid on the PS3 just yet.
Metal Gear Raiden seems to be something new. May...
I thought to myself, "Sony's announcing a rumor? They don't comment on them, but they can announce them. What kind of crap is this?"
I'd like to have Vidzone or something with special content.
